Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I am the creator of Travels with History. I am a lifelong history buff with a passion for travel and storytelling. I decided to combine my interests into a travel blog devoted to all things WWII. I truly believe that the lessons of this period of history are as relevant today as ever before. As the generation who lived through the war are slowly lost to time, I believe it is our mission to ensure their stories continue to be told.
After spending years honing my passion on the topic by consuming countless WWII films, documentaries and books, I decided to take my knowledge to the next level. In 2024 I graduated with a Master of Arts in World War II Studies from Arizona State University.
